How do teachers make decisions about which instructional materials to use in their classrooms? With funding from the William and Flora Hewlett Foundation, WestEd is exploring this question to inform efforts aimed at improving the quality and consistency of instructional materials in classrooms across the United States.

These new briefs examine how teachers obtain, judge the quality of, and select instructional materials:
